The City Health Office (CHO) presented two awards from the Department of Health (DOH) Region VI to Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca during the regular flag ceremony last April 27. The City was recognized for accomplishing a blood collection of more than 1% of the total population in 2014. Meanwhile, the CHO was awarded for its distinguished and invaluable services and dedication to improve the quality and coverage of prevention programs for most at risk, vulnerable, living with HIV and the general population. These recognitions were all given during the “Kalusugan Pangkalahatan Awards” held in Iloilo. CHO’s HIV Cases Nurse Coordinator is Mary Grace De La Rosa with Nurse Alternate April Anne Bayadog. Blood Collection on the other hand is handled by coordinators Jasmin Sudario and Florence Bravo. The City also congratulates the CHO Personnel for their achievements:
