Another Negosyo Center of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Negros Occidental was opened in Victorias City last Sept. 19.

The center, located at the Annex Building of the City Hall at Brgy. IV is the second Negosyo Center launched in the Province for this year.

The other one is in San Carlos City which was operational since June of this year.

Three Negosyo Centers, already launched last year were located at the Province of Negros Occidental-TLDC, Kabankalan City, and Sagay City.

DTI-7 Concurrent and Negros Island Region (NIR) Regional Director Asteri Caberte graced the activity and shared the many sustainable projects in the different regions.

Lea Gonzales, provincial director of DTI-Negros Occidental was present during the event and she reiterated “Once fully operational, the Negosyo Center will be assisting our Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the City. We will be providing business advisory services, business registration and facilitate Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE).”

City Councilor and Chairman on Trade, Commerce, Industry and Price Regulation Blandino Galinato congratulated DTI for the program which will negosyo center oPens in Victorias city EVENTS AND PROGRAMS greatly benefit the people of Victorias.

Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca is very glad with the launching of the Negosyo Center and expressed his gratitude to DTI for the partnership and support that they extended to the City.

The City Councilors, department heads and MSMEs joined the launching activity, ribbon-cutting and blessing of the center.

The Negosyo Center is under the Republic Act No. 10644, otherwise known as “Go Negosyo Act,” which will cater the needs of the entrepreneurs and help the growth and sustained development of the MSMEs.
