BRIEF HISTORY OF BARANGAY XXI 

Barangay XXI has a total land area of 399.84 (hectare), where 60 (hectare) used in agriculture, 316.84 (hectares) in residential, 18 (hectare) are timberland and 5 V are alienable and disposal land.

Barangay XXI, is belong to the Rural Area but 1.5km. fay away from the City Hall. The Barangay Hall was constructed on November 1989 located at Hda. Editah beside the Public Cemetery, walking distance from the National Highway. The Day Care Center beside the Barangay Hall as serves for the Pre-Schooler its only 25 years contract was constructed on November 1989 thru the assistance of KVFI, after 25 years this Day Care Center is going back to the land owner Mrs. Concepcion Amy D. Pedrajas.

Barangay XXI, it s composed of three (3) Hacienda’s which are; Hda. Editha owned by the Ditching family, Hda. Cristina owned by the Jover family and Hda. Josefina owned by the Ardoza family, it has Seven (7) Zone’s for each kagawad’s to supervise its zone with the assistance of the zone leader and Punong Barangay. 

Palanca Village was on of the Project of Mayor Sever A. Palanca for the relocation squatters from the Baranga VI Salvacion Village, and also Resettlement Project of Barangay (RPB 21) Relocation for the squatters from the Different areas of Victorias City. 

Aside from Barangay Officials, we have 23 Barangay Tanods, 17 BHW, 1 BNS, 2 Day Care Worker, 5 Street Cleaners, 1 utility, 3 janitors, 1 Paravet, 1 Barangay Record Keeper, 1 Barangay Driver and 1 Administrator to assist Barangay Activities. 

Recently, our New Barangay Hall is located at RPB-21, Relocation Site, Barangay XXI, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
