COMELEC CONDUCTS FINAL TESTING, SEALING OF VOTE COUNTING MACHINES IN VICTORIAS CITY

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Victorias City successfully conducted the Final Testing and Sealing (FTS) of Automated Counting Machines at the Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Arts and Cultural Center, May 7.
The event was led by City Election Officer IV Atty. Ma. Fatima Aspan and attended by local election officers, members of the Electoral Board, representatives from political parties, and other key stakeholders.
Also present to support the event were Schools Division Superintendent Portia Mallorca, Victorias City PNP Chief of Police Terence Paul Sta. Ana, and 605th Maneuver Company Commander PMAJ John Salvador Bello.
The FTS ensured that all machines were accurate, working properly, and securely sealed in preparation for the May 12, 2025 National and Local Elections.
Thereafter, the verification and checking of official ballots took place under the supervision of City Treasurer Maria Rosielyn Gustilo.
Victorias City has a total of 77 clustered precincts across 17 voting centers.
As part of the preparations, the early deployment of ballot boxes, official ballots, and other election forms and supplies to voting centers is scheduled on May 11 at 9:00 AM to ensure timely distribution and full readiness for the May 12 polls.
The activities reinforce the city’s preparedness to conduct clean, credible, and orderly elections. *
