PHILIPPINE FOOTBALL FEDERATION HOLDS BASIC REFEREES COURSE IN VICTORIAS CITY

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) successfully conducted its Basic Referees Course 2025 in Victorias City, May 14 to 17.
Hosted by the Victorias City Local Government Unit and Negros Occidental Regional Football Association in partnership with Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias and Victorias City FC, the 3-day program aimed to certify additional football referees across the region and strengthen grassroots football officiating.
A total of 35 participants from Iloilo FA, Kabankalan, San Carlos, Bacolod, Silay, Talisay, and Victorias City took part in the course, which combined both theoretical and practical training sessions.
Sessions were held at the CSAV and the Victorias City Football Pitch under the guidance of PFF instructors Dennis Estaniel, Jeffrey Velez, and Raymond Goyon.
The PFF extends its gratitude to the Victorias City LGU led by Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez and City Sports Office OIC Romeo Francis Paranpan, Jr., NORFA President Jose Miguel Valmayor and CSAV Executive Director Atty. Romeo Vicente Sta. Ana, Jr. for their unwavering support, hospitality, and generosity.
Their commitment to developing football in the city and across the region continues to inspire the next generation of players and officials.
