The initiative aimed to ensure the timely and organized distribution of stipends, taking into account the health, safety, and physical needs of senior citizens.

The payout covered the monthly stipends from January to June 2025, amounting to Php 6,000 per beneficiary.

The event was managed by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), in coordination with the City Treasurer’s Office.

Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez graced the event, reaffirming his support for the city’s continuous efforts to uplift the welfare of the senior citizen community.

Also present were Vice Mayor-elect Derek Palanca and City Councilors Warlito Undar, Dino Acuña, Joji Larraga, Audie Malaga, and Teresita Bartolome.

Key officials from the CSWDO included City Social Welfare and Development Officer Joy Reunir, RSW, Older Persons Focal Person Jasteen Cauntod, and OSCA Head Erlinda Sarito.

They were joined by FSCAP Federation President Gilda Alojamiento and Barangay FSCAP Presidents.
