As part of the Women's Month Celebration, the City of Victorias, through its City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), spearheaded a Leadership Training at Balay Bato, Patag, Silay City, on March 27-28.

The two-day training gathered officers from the Sidlak Victorias Women's Organization Federation (SVWOFO) and the Council for Women in Victorias City (CWVC) to enhance their leadership skills and competencies.

Dr. Ana Lou Panganiban, RGC, RPsy, served as the resource speaker, providing insights on effective leadership strategies.

The sessions focused on conflict resolution and negotiation skills, time management and prioritization, and fostering a culture of accountability and responsibility.

These key areas are essential in strengthening the role of women leaders in community development and governance.

The initiative underscores Victorias City's commitment to empowering women by equipping them with the necessary tools to lead and advocate for gender-responsive programs within their respective organizations.*
