VICTORIAS CITY HONORS OUTSTANDING STUDENTS, ATHLETES, BARANGAYS IN FLAG CEREMONY

The city extended its congratulations to Jayren Navaja, a student from AAYQMES, for emerging as Champion in Food Preparation and Presentation during the Regional Festival of Talents held in Bacolod City.
Victorias City also recognized the exceptional performances of various barangays during the 119th Malihaw Festival.
Barangay VI-A, led by Punong Barangay Anna Mae Claro, and Barangay XXI, headed by Punong Barangay Edwin Ditching, were commended for achieving a back-to-back victory as Champions in both the Street Dancing and Arena Dance Competitions.
Barangay II, under Board Member Richard Julius Sablan, and Barangay VI, headed by Punong Barangay Rolando Millan, were congratulated for placing 2nd in the Street Dancing Competition and 1st Runner-up in the Arena Dance Competition.
Meanwhile, Barangay XV, led by Punong Barangay Baylen Torema, and Barangay XV-A, headed by Punong Barangay Romeo Barbas Jr., were recognized for earning 2nd Runner-up in the Arena Dance Competition.
In the field of academics and professional licensure, the city commended John Rey Hino-o, Christel Aguirre, and Aldrin Nichole Gali for successfully passing the Criminology Licensure Examination.
Similar recognition was given to Russiana Kristos for passing the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
A resolution was also passed to congratulate Ryan Casanares Magdangal for passing the 2025 Civil Engineering Board Examination.
Furthermore, Reymart Soledad was honored for his impressive first-round knockout victory against Pleum Wangklangklang in a boxing tournament held in Pattaya, Thailand.
The RMP Taekwondo Martial Arts Team was also congratulated for their achievements during the 2025 SMART MVP Sports Foundation National Taekwondo Championship Tournament held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
Antonia Beatriz Prieto earned a gold medal, while Dastan Levi Jamelo secured silver, under the guidance of coaches Rusty Pabalinas and Vic Feria.
City Planning and Development Coordinator Dr. Evangeline Alo was also recognized for her 20 years of service in the City Government.
